ileolai asked: People accussing Sherlock of queerbaiting make me want to punch shit. "Sherlock makes an active effort to present them as a couple and not a couple" except when Irene explicitly defines them as a couple and explains why.
Yup, that would be one of the things on the list I don’t personally agree with! I like how their relationship is shown in that show quite a bit.
this exactly today
This is how I feel many days. Sadly, since I’m getting on a bus to VT (and from there going on to Maine) tomorrow, I kind of have to do things. And it’s stressing me out! :(

Pros-and-cons of Sherlock and Elementary, rebloggable by request
This is a REALLY good list.
Don’t agree with everything on this list personally, but as someone who watches both shows (but am currently definitely fonder of Elementary… Loved the first season of Sherlock, wasn’t as thrilled with the second), I definitely think it’s a good list!

I always feel *so much guilt* for not going to protests. I feel like other rad people really judge me for it, and that not going to protests makes me a bad radical.
So all the time I’m like, well, maybe I’ll go to that protest! But then I always end up not going at the last minute.
Because I really, really hate going to protests. They make me super stressed and anxious and unhappy. Blarrrgh.
Doctor, this is why I love you. Right here.
Vincent van Gogh was a man who is somewhat famous for his mental instability. He later ended his own life. For the Doctor to go and show him that his art mattered, and that his existence mattered…is amazing. And I wish someone could have shown this amazing artist how much he contributed to the world.
I wish the Doctor could show everyone how they mattered, because everybody does matter. In our own small way, we change the world simply by existing.
I will always, always, ALWAYS reblog this when it’s on my dash.
Out of all the Doctor Who episodes.. this is the one I’ve watched the most. And I can tell you that every time I watch it, I cry. Paint bucket of feels. And the song that is playing during this scene makes me tear up too

nikip said: I forever love your hair. So jealous of your amazing curls; what is your secret?!
Aww, thank you!! :) I’m afraid my secret is mostly genetics (my parents both have curly hair :-P), but some curl-preserving things I do are make sure my hair doesn’t get too dry (I use baking soda and vinegar on my hair instead of shampoo, and only wash it even with baking soda about once a week), and I never brush it with a hairbrush. Just finger comb it thoroughly when it’s wet right after I’ve used a vinegar rinse (makes hair all slippery and easy to untangle), and then less thoroughly finger comb it daily dry… Yeah.
