life in the radical lane

I'm Idzie, and I am many things. Sister, daughter, friend, woman. Unschooler, green anarchist, feminist, animist, queer. Writer, lover of the colour purple, silly person who enjoys dancing around being...well, silly. Seeking to help dismantle systems of oppression. Currently super interested in queer and gender stuff, radical sustainability, people living together in egalitarian non-hierarchical ways, feminism/recognizing and talking about sexism, freedom-based education, sex-positivity, and FOOD (growing, acquiring, preserving, cooking, sharing, eating). I love food a ridiculous amount. I want to move somewhere rural with some awesome people where I can raise goats and chickens, play music, and cook lots of tasty foods.

I'm always striving to listen, learn, and not be an oppressive asshole. If I fail in this goal with something I've said or done, please let me know so I can try hard to not do it again.

I have three blogs with "real" posts (two I'm the only author of, one I co-author with my sister).I'm Unschooled. Yes, I Can Write. Which mostly deals with freedom-based education, and specifically unschooling, Sistermatic response, which deals with "sexuality, gender, pop-culture, and resistance," and The Passionate Plant Eater, which is all about food.
